Roles and Responsibilities
Collaborate with sales teams to identify customer requirements and provide tailored data warehousing solutions.
Deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations to showcase the value of data-driven solutions.
Assist in preparing proposals, RFP responses, and cost estimations.
Design scalable, secure, and high-performance data warehouse and data lake solutions using AWS services.
Integrate diverse data sources, including ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics, SAGE), raw data streams, and unstructured data repositories.
Create optimized data models and architecture for analytics, reporting, and business intelligence.
Utilize AWS services such as AWS Glue, AWS S3, AWS Redshift, AWS Lake Formation, and AWS QuickSight for end-to-end data processing and analytics.
Incorporate tools like Power BI for advanced data visualization and insights delivery.
Implement data governance, security, and compliance best practices.
Work closely with clients, project managers, and development teams to ensure successful implementation of data solutions.
Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior team members.
Serve as the SME (Subject Matter Expert) for data warehousing and analytics during client interactions.
Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in data warehousing, analytics, and AWS services.
Proactively identify opportunities to enhance solution offerings and improve delivery processes.
Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
8-10 years of experience in data warehousing, data lake solutions, and pre-sales roles.
Proven expertise with AWS services, including but not limited to AWS QuickSight, AWS Glue, AWS Redshift, and AWS Lake Formation.
Proficiency in data visualization tools like Power BI.
Strong knowledge of integrating data from various sources such as SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics, SAGE, and unstructured data formats.
Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Experience with ETL processes, data modeling, and cloud-based data architecture.
Nice to Have
Certifications in AWS (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Data Analytics).
Experience with Big Data frameworks like Hadoop or Spark.
Familiarity with machine learning models and predictive analytics.
