  • Sells a subset of products and services directly or via partners to small and medium-sized accounts.
  • Report sales activity within the system, and creates and conduct frequent reviews and reports with sales and financial data.
  • Assist in creating and refining the sales strategy and plan, identifying key industries and target accounts aligned with the startup’s growth trajectory.
  • Assists in the development of the sales plan. Prepares forecasts and KPI reporting for the sales leaders, CRO, and top management, for use in organizational planning, financial forecasting, budget setting, and strategic planning.
  • Coordinating, planning, and working towards monthly or annual targets.
  • Coordinate with other sales team members to align plans to support sales initiatives towards the Managed & Professional Services elements of sales engagements, developing value propositions and solutions specific to cloud opportunities and closing the deal by working as a specialist with the sales team.
  • Engage directly with startup communities, networking within incubators, accelerators, and Venture Capital (VC) ecosystems to generate leads, build relationships, and identify potential partnerships or customer opportunities.
  • Engage in business discussions with the customer to understand the customer’s business environment, requirements, and issues.
  • Works to achieve maximum sales profitability, growth, and account penetration and meet with stakeholders within accounts.
  • Utilizes inbound and/or outbound techniques to identify, qualify and close new opportunities.
  • Responsible for understanding AWS product offerings and competitive issues to develop solution proposals encompassing all aspects of the application.
  • Travels to customer sites to identify/develop sales opportunities.
  • Participates in the development, preparation, and delivery of the presentation, and sales of a value proposition.
  • Adapt quickly, wear multiple hats, and be resourceful in a lean, startup environment where processes are evolving and agility is key.
  • Onsite customer presentation with C-levels to negotiate and close strategic and complex deals.
  • Liaises with customer contacts for the purpose of managing customer relationships, identifying new opportunities, and maximizing sales.
  • Manages accounts including the entire sales process from business development prospecting and specifications through contract negotiations, signing, and post-sales support.
  • Preparing suitable RFPs and RFQs & their responses for interested customers.
  • Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and social media.
  • Contact potential and existing customers on the phone, by email, and in person.
  • Participate on behalf of the company in exhibitions or conferences.

  • A Bachelor’s Degree holder in Business, Management, Marketing, Technology, or its related field or equivalent experience
  • More than one (1) year of sales engineering background, industry sales experience in cloud, or relevant work experience
  • Holding a valid UAE Resident/Spouse/Freelance Visa
  • AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or will be required to achieve within one (1) month from onboarding
  • Knowledge of Cloud, DevOps, and Managed & Professional services
  • Strong network within startup communities, incubators, accelerators, and/or Venture Capital firms (VCs), with the ability to leverage connections for business development and lead generation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM, and sales software programs
  • Proven or demonstrably outstanding communication skills (speaking & writing) and presentation skills
  • Ability to collaborate with teams within SUDO and partners externally
  • Ability to work in complex, matrix-managed organizational environments.
  • Familiarity with startup culture and an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Proven track record in B2B sales, preferably in a startup or high-growth environment, with experience in SMB and mid-market segments.
  • Prior experience selling cloud-based services (AWS preferred) and navigating startup ecosystems—such as incubators, accelerators, or venture-backed environments.
  • Business development and prospecting skills
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales objectives and account development.
  • Experience as the focal point for clients for all sales and related issues
  • Highly developed selling, customer relations, negotiation, and consultative sales skills

  • Valid UAE Driver’s license
  • Arabic speaking is a plus
  • Hand-on Cloud experience
  • Good project management skills and experience in management
  • Hands-on experience with CRM software
  • Experience selling Cloud Infrastructure, AWS-related services, and/or complex IT solutions
